Dr Alyssa Vu
Dr Ly’s passion for dentistry began long before she became a dentist. While still in high school, she worked as a dental receptionist and assistant in Brisbane. She went on to graduate as a dental hygienist from The University of Queensland in 2010 before completing her Bachelor of Dentistry at Griffith University in 2017.
Having experienced dentistry from every angle - from reception and clinical assisting through hygiene and dentistry - Dr Ly brings a well-rounded perspective and genuine understanding of the patient journey. Patients value her caring nature and her ability to make even the most nervous visitors feel comfortable and supported.
Dr Ly has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and root canal treatment. With a natural skill of problem-solving, she enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and treating complex dental problems and finds great satisfaction in helping patients find solutions to save, strengthen, and restore their natural teeth.
Outside the clinic, Dr Ly enjoys spending time with her two children, playing board games with friends and family, and tackling jigsaw puzzles. She's up for any activity that brings people together and engages her mind!
